Jimmy also mentioned this,”once their applications to join PKR are accepted,their membership in PRS will be automically terminated.”I suppose so,” he said when told of the consequences of joining the opposition party. We must remember that under the SOCIETIES ACT 1966 there are certain provisions and rules to be followed. So much so under section 7 (3) (e) Schedule1 under ”Constitution and Rules of Societies” Number 1 subhead (e) clearly states: the qualification for membership,including particulars of any rstricition or limitations that may be imposed as to the numbers,age limits,sex,religion,race,nationality,dwelling place,clan or surname of persons who may be admitted to membership of the society.
I do want to refresh their memories of those PRS members who have joined that under Party Rakyat Sarawak Constitution Article 111 Number 2 subhead(c) reads “That he is not a member of any other political party or organisation”.
So thats morally wrong when one says not directed to any specific person that he/she waits to be sacked/resigned before accepting the offer as a member. ( DUA PERAHU) cannot be right and any layman would agree as this is just taking BN and PKR through a whirlwind roller coaster ride.
The names are already published and known. Even PRS President James Masing said,”What has happened in Sibu is that they have shown their true colour.”"The BN should get rid of the possible moles in BN.They will be giving problem in two or three years ahead.Now their position is clear.People now know who are with whom. Jimmy Donald,Josephine Mawat,Munan Laja,Leon Jimmy are all aligned to Sng.” He even went further that as far as PRS is concerned these(disloyal) people are no more in the party.” Furthermore there has been too much speculations on James Masings loyalty. There should not be anymore question on this as he is INDEED LOYAL AND SUBSCRIBES TO THE PRINCIPLES OF BARISAN NATIONAL.
The question on everyones lips today in the political market is that,”Will and When the Councillors be SACKED by the ruling BN government.? They are all appointed by the government to serve as local legislators and if they feel they do not subscribe to the present government they should resigned or face the indignity of being sacked.
Even Larry Sng says,” He agrees with Masing that PRS members who attended the dinner in Sibu should be sacked from the party and the BN. strong words really,we must not permit people who have one foot in BN and the other in PR. Have they all abandon Larry and Why..?
On one hand its good for PKR to welcome these members BUT lets be honest that they might be some who will eventually know that their names are just thrown into the BUNDLE OF NAMES SUBMITTED. That remains another avenue which shall be questioned in the later stages. The changing of colours or shirts is up to the individual. Its their divine right as a Malaysian citizen BUT THE BIGGER PICTURE is I would say,” ARE THEY THE WILLING PARTNER? ” in this membership exercise.There will be technicalities which if it is not solved would play directly into the Registrar Of Societies HANDS. Do you need examples..? That is up to Pakatan and BN to answer…

Can Adit be our "Dayak Obama"?Gabriel Adit’s joining Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) is not a surprise at all. He was seen with PKR leaders many a time and had been involved campaigning for Anwar Ibrahim in the Permatang Pauh by election in August.
But what surprises many of us are the number of people he brings with him to join PKR. Just imagine he handed 11,753 application forms, over 6,000 of which were from Kanowit, to Anwar Ibrahim at a dinner in Sibu on 15 November 2008.
Adit is really smart as he knows how to maximize the impact of his entry to PKR. Instantly he is being recognized as the leader of the group and is being given full responsibility to spearhead campaigns for the overthrown of the State Government.
Since the March election, PKR has been looking for someone especially from the Dayak community to be the leader; someone who is able to convince the Dayak voters to support the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) or the People Alliance.
PKR knows that to win the election in the State, the Dayak voters in the 29-Dayak majority seats (out of the 71-seat State Legislative Assembly), play the most crucial role in the coming election – whichever side they support that side is likely to win.
Not surprisingly, both the BN and PKR are gunning their campaigns towards the Dayak constituencies. For the time being, the BN seems to have the upper hand as they know how to exploit the Dayaks’ weaknesses, coax and even intimidate them into supporting the Barisan parties.
On the other hand, PKR is also confident because of changing political mood prevailing in the country as well as having certain issues to be used as weapons and these include NCR land issues and the alleged discriminatory practices against the Dayaks which have become very evident during the 27 years of Taib Mahmud’s dictatorial rule.
Can Adit, the newly found leader of PKR, who is also the State assemblyman for Ngemah, and Anwar Ibrahim, the de facto leader of PKR, open the 'eyes and minds' of the Dayaks who have been too “barisanised” to support the Pakatan Rakyat in the coming election?
If what had happened in Sibu on 15 November, that is the huge response to be PKR members, is going to be the trend in other parts of the State in the next few months, then Sarawak is set to become the battle ground for the control of the Land of the Hornbill come next election.

You see, Taib believes in numerology. His favourite number is 9. (Abdullah Bedawi's favourite is of course no.13)It was thought that Taib will leave in 2007(7+2=9),or in May this year when he would be 72.(7+2=9). But most likely he will retire in the year 2016(2+0+1+6=9).Thats another 18 years and by which time he will be 90 years old.That is provided he has the health and stamina to go on,just like some of the chinese politicians in China. Or, closer to home,like James Wong who is now 87,or Mahathir, now 84, and even Taib's uncle, Rahman,who is 82.
James, Mahathir and Rahman are legends and surely Taib will have no problems whatsoever emulating these gentlemen achivements.His only obstacles will be his stamina,health and Pakatan Rakyat!
Well,fellow Sarawakians,hold your breadth and brace for more years of Taib's rule.

Dayaks have been left out for far too long.I think it's about time the dayaks find a new leader like Gabriel Adit ,who is brave and decisive.If he can command the majority of the dayak,then I won't be surprise he will be the next Leo Moggi of Sarawak.
People like Joseph Salang,Aron Dagang are the new bred of dayak leaders who can chart the course of the dayaks.
People like James Masing,William Mawan,Afred Jabu must be shown the exit.Tell what have these 3 dayaks done for the dayak communities.They are only paying lip services.
Let it be known to all fence sitter that now,not tomorrow,is the time to join Gabriel Adit in his quest for the betterment of the dayak communities.We must stand up to the harassment and mistreatment that we endure for 45 years.Let us say no to BN and yes to change.It's now or never!This window of opportunities must not be let to slip by.Seize this once in a life time opportunity and be a leader not a follower.
